Taken from an ancient miniature, the tree of life is considered the source of life, the place from which every living being originates. Strength of generative life, which gives birth to branches, leaves and fruits; the tree of life is a symbol of birth and rebirth.

The work was made using the same technique as the icons: egg-based tempera and pure gold powder.
