Gold of the soul
When every ray is light (Sun). I realized very close rays inside the halo and it created a special shining effect, making the image more precious.
Gold is divine light. Despite the shining of other colors, the gold of the sun represents the light of all lights. Gold is the symbol of divine Grace, living in created things, the direct intervention of God and its Grace.
With icons I have realized how delightful is working with gold and how much patience is due to learn the ancient art of gilding.
